ABOUT US
The Kelowna EMDR Clinic is the first of its kind counselling clinic in Kelowna, BC, to focus on using EMDR as a therapeutic approach. Along with trauma-focused therapy, we offer individual counselling for adults and children as well as couples' and family counselling – all in a calm and regulating environment.
Our Clinic was founded in May 2024 after seeing the need for a place in the Okanagan region where clients and therapists can do meaningful trauma therapy work. Our space was built with special attention to sound and privacy, and designed to help you feel grounded.
Our Therapists
Each EMDR therapist has EMDRIA-accredited training and uses a client-centred approach, some with additional training for working with children. Whether navigating impacts of trauma or common stressors of daily life, you work through a personalized treatment plan that best supports your nervous system for deep healing. Our therapists are registered with provincial organizations and associations.

ABOUT KELOWNA EMDR CLINIC
Specializations + Areas of Focus
We work with individuals navigating traumatic events past or present, couples looking to improve communication and connection, parents or guardians seeking support for themselves or their children, and adults wanting to better understand themselves.
Not every client comes to us with trauma. Our Kelowna-based clinic also supports people looking for individual, couples’, or family counselling. We help people experiencing significant change, loss, nightmares, self-doubt or low confidence, lack of purpose, chronic stress and burnout, feelings of overwhelm, panic attacks, and other concerns that can interrupt day to day living.
Our therapists help you identify unhelpful patterns and address the underlying cause. Symptoms which might appear unrelated can be linked by a common thread – one experience, past or present, that touches on something unresolved and manifests physically.
Areas of focus for Kelowna EMDR Clinic therapists include PTSD, C-PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, identity and belonging, divorce and separation, life transitions, complex trauma, reproductive mental health and perinatal health, socio-emotional learning, self-regulation, neurodivergence, and more.
