Car ACCIDENT THERAPY
For ICBC CLaims
With trauma-informed EMDR Therapists

EMDR Therapy for Car Accident Trauma

access counselling with your ICBc claim

In trauma therapy, a car or motor vehicle accident is referred to as a single traumatic event. Sleepless nights, flashbacks, anxiety when driving or cycling, or the sense of being “on edge” are common responses to processing the trauma of an accident.

Whether it was a major accident or minor incident, these are normal symptoms. EMDR therapy can be an effective solution to processing the trauma related to the accident.

ICBC Enhanced Care covers everyone within the first 12 weeks* of an accident - no matter who was at fault. There's no wait time for approvals and all you need is your ICBC claim number.

  • 12 approved visits (up to $157 per)

  • 50 minute sessions

  • effective treatment

  • motor vehicle driver or passenger, cyclist, pedestrian

*If treatment isn't pre-approved under Enhanced Care (outside of the 12 weeks) or if your recovery is taking longer than 12 weeks, you might be able to get additional treatments covered. Talk to us so we can work with your recovery specialist for approvals.
