Referring Professionals FAQ

Yes! We work successfully with many allied health professionals. While a medical referral isn’t required for our therapists to work with new clients, we always appreciate an introduction.

Similar to conventional therapy, our therapists are generalists who work within chosen areas of specialty. If someone is looking for EMDR to address anxiety or PTSD and has ADHD, we’d look to connect them with an EMDR therapist who also specializes in ADHD.

Currently, our therapist team covers a wide range of specializations. Yes, though some of our resident therapists are not yet working with the EMDR therapy model (they will be adding this to their therapeutic approach). Our experienced resident therapists work with other trauma-informed modalities including Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Somatic Experiencing, and Mindfulness - among others. Client files / charts are protected by confidentiality, and require the client authorize a written request to release information. Once authorized, client files / charts may be released in a secure format (encryption) to the requesting party. Administrative fees may apply. Please contact us.
