Meet Jack Parkyn
they/them/theirs

A Registered Social Worker, Jack offers individual counselling for adults navigating change, healing, and self-discovery. They work with people living with PTSD and complex trauma, and those integrating the impacts of systemic oppression, identity shifts, or relational transitions.

Using an integrative, evidence-based approach, Jack draws from modalities such as relational therapy, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, DBT, and mindfulness. They specialize in working with clients making reproductive decisions or navigating reproductive mental health concerns including fertility challenges, pregnancy, the perinatal period, and postpartum adjustment.

Among their work supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and those experiencing significant life changes, Jack also welcomes clients of all populations and life experiences. They offer space to explore self, patterns, and possibility in a relational, collaborative, and compassionate way as clients move through the tender thresholds of life.

With a belief that healing happens through connection within ourselves, with others, and in community, Jack strives for their practice to be trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and affirming of all identities, bodies, and communities.
