Meet Samantha Hanley
she/her/hers

Sam is an inclusive and collaborative therapist who works with clients across the lifespan — from children and youth to adults and seniors. Her specializations include anxiety, life transitions, neurodiversity, and identity development. Sam creates a welcoming space for individuals from all backgrounds to do deep and meaningful work through affirming and culturally responsive care. 


An advocate for inclusivity, Sam is proud to be part of the LGBTQ2S+ community and brings this understanding into her practice. She values working with individuals and families of all ages, backgrounds, and life experiences. 


Sam holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Applied Behaviour Analysis. She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors and is a registered Autism Service Provider with the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD). Sam specializes in working with children and youth—particularly those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). 


Sam's therapeutic style is person-centered and integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Somatic Experiencing, and Mindfulness practices. She tailors her approach to meet individual needs, goals, and lived experiences—working collaboratively to foster healing, insight, and meaningful change. 

With more than a decade of experience, Sam brings deep expertise in behaviour support, socio-emotional learning, communication, and family collaboration. She's committed to helping neurodiverse children and their caregivers build essential life skills and strengthen connections that support long-term well-being.

Monday & Thursday 1:00pm to 6:00pm

Wednesday 9:00am to 2:00pm
